Body Positive Pilates is dedicated to the practice of Pilates in its classical form, as well as drawing on a wealth of exercises and techniques inspired by dance. This contemporary approach involves exercises that integrate all parts of the body into one and relies heavily on the use of images to facilitate comprehension and ease of movement. Our small class settings allow personalised guidance and encourage an atmosphere of positivity and self-confidence.

What is Pilates
Pilates is a mind-body exercise system designed to optimise physical fitness in people at every level of physical ability.
The exercises improve flexibility, build strength and develop control and endurance in the entire body. Special emphasis is placed on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, fluidity of movement and improving coordination and balance.
Preparatory exercises and modifications allow the technique to be appropriate for all body types and abilities, making it possible for everyone to enjoy the benefits of Pilates!
