CLASSICAL PILATES
MATWORK
This class combines the classic Pilates Matwork with the use of Pilates equipment (elastics, rollers, Halo, Ladder Barrel, etc.).
Classes start with purposefully directed exercises which at once increase body awareness, warm up the muscles and mobilise the joints.
Exercises focusing on strength, flexibility and mobility create a balanced, flexible and toned body, and leave you feeling invigorated and centred !
SENIOR PILATES
Senior Pilates is designed specifically for 50+. Preserve your physical autonomy by maintaining your mobility, strength, control and endurance.
Classes are gentle, yet dynamic. The use of deep breathing and fluid movements ensures you work at a level that is as comfortable, or as challenging, as you like. Special focus is placed on coordination and proprioception which is essential as we get older to counteract everyday aches and pains, and avoid falls, as well as other age related issues such as osteoporosis and urinary incontinence.

PILATES BARRE
Combining elements of classical and contemporary dance, Pilates and strength training, this class mixes intense muscle training with recovery stretching.
Exercises focusing on proper pelvic placement, strength, flexibility and mobility create a balanced, flexible and toned body, and leave you feeling invigorated and centred !
CHOREO - PILATES
This class is based on the classic Pilates Matwork while incorporating some basic dance movements. Its most outstanding feature is that the entire class is choreographed to music.
This class is only for those with a strong foundation in Pilates.* Classes start with purposefully directed movement which at once increase body awareness, warm up the muscles and mobilise the joints. This class is not for the faint of heart, but it will leave you feeling invigorated and centred!
*At the discretion of the teacher you may be asked to delay joining this class until you have developed sufficient control, co-ordination and strength.

Specially designed for athletes, this class uses the Pilates Barre, Twist Ball, and more to optimise pivoting strategies and directional changes, increase dynamic stability and build strength and endurance. Through a carefully designed series of exercises we progress through such simple movements as side bends, arm swings, hip hinges, squats and lunges at progressively intensified levels.
